Diner En Blanc

Say hello to Kristen, back with a little more goodness for you.

Hello, Shabby Apple friends!

Have you heard of the oh-so fabulous "flash mob" parties in Europe called the Diner en Blanc? That is translated to “Dinner in White," and it made its debut in New York last year, and will now be occuring in various cities across the United States. The way it works is people are invited, but the location is not announced until moments before you are to attend. Everyone must wear white, and bring their own tables and chairs as well as their own food, the best behavior is expected, and upon leaving the area is to look a if nothing happened.

If you know of one happening around here, please invite me, I am dying to get a couple of Shabby Apple Whites and wear them around town.

I am such a sucker for the white summer lace dress,
Malt Shop. It is so effortlessly clean, classic, and always chic. I love that you could just put on a pop color of earrings and heels and call your look complete.

Want to make a bold impression? Then the Freshwater Pearl dress is for you. A wide neck collar dress
that comes together to form a bow at the base of the neck makes a stunning and lasting impression. This dress works best for women with athletic or pear bodytypes.

Palatine Hill, a white dress with an asymmetrical neckline, has so many options for wear. It could be a great dress for the office and easily transitions to night, I would definitely wear this to any date, whether it was a picnic or a fancy restaurant.

Trade Winds, a white pleated bodice dress
, is great for hot days in the summer because it really breathes with the light weight cotton. Trade Winds flatters the body by emphasizing the waist then having evolving into an A-line skirt.

Sounds like Kristen is ready for a Diner En Blanc! And how about you? What is your favorite Shabby Apple white?
